Al Con_tempo noi, LA CHIGI solo exhibition opening 6 April at 6pm

On display from 6 April to 4 May 2024

The OAH Homegallery of Ivrea is pleased to present the solo exhibition of LA CHIGI, winner of the third edition of the ArtRise 2023 award.

The exhibition, accompanied by Margaret Sgarra’s critical text, develops from the artist’s personal research which investigates communication within human relationships and, consequently, reflects on the meaning of our life time.

The works on display use the device of play, the smile and the assembly of objects with different stories to generate – with their vestiges – problematic reflections on our present, on the solitudes that inhabit us in order to overcome them together.

The visitor is immersed in a very intimate artistic journey where his own curiosity will be the essential element to decipher it. An exhibition that requires us to return to childhood simplicity in order to assume our responsibilities; an oxymoron that invites the lightness of true depth.

“Al con_tempo noi” is an invitation to singular and plural thought, which allows us to act in a unique and personal way but altruistically, in search of others not for lack but to generate and multiply true wealth. Time is the key to every relationship, it is what gives value to the other: “It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.” (A. de Saint Exupery, Le Petit Prince)
