“Loving yourself ?= Loving others? “

This universally recognized concept, which has its roots in the creation of mankind, invites us to reflect on the deep and unique value of each of us and to learn to treat everyone with the same kindness, respect and care that we would be willing to give ourselves.

We want to pose and ask a question that will answer two important questions: how do we love ourselves and how do we love others?

Loving others as oneself is not always easy. Our life experiences can affect not only how we perceive ourselves, but also how we treat others. Often insecurities, fears, and pain cause us to judge or push away others.The painful experiences we have gone through due to various life issues may have made us impenetrable, indifferent and insensitive to ourselves and, consequently, to others.

How can we know if we really love ourselves? How can we give to others what we have not received?

The etymology of the word love is “absence of death. Who can conquer death?

Who can give us a love so strong and powerful that we can feel free and in harmony with the world around us? Embracing the idea of loving others as we love ourselves is a heroic feat for those who are curious and not satisfied with what they see and experience. For those who do not give up in the face of difficulties, but face life with courage. It is a constant choice.

 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

TIME LINE

PHASE 1: OPENING REGISTRATION | SENDING MATERIALS DEADLINE JULY 13, 2025 00:00 hours, exclusively through the form on this page. Required material: receipt of payment of the registration fee, photo and amateur video of the work (where it can be seen in full) (max 3 photos). All personal documents of the artist required in the announcement (downloadable at the bottom of the page).

Please send ALL materials in ONE ZIP, (max 20MG). Photos must be in JPG format with a maximum resolution of 72 dpi. Make sure they are clear and not pixelated.

PHASE 2: SEPTEMBER Official notification of finalists, participants in the collective on November 15. We will give communication here and on our social channels and by email. There will be no communication for those who are not finalists.

STEP 3: Shipment of works to the venue at OAH_Homegallery NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 20. It is essential to make prior arrangements with the gallery for shipping!

STEP 4: Saturday, November 15, 3:00 p.m. _Opening of the group exhibition and award ceremony for the ARTRISE winners Important: The presence of the finalists or a substitute is required.
