PRESS RELEASE

Opening and Award Ceremony of the fourth edition of the ArtRise 2025 Award

Theme: “Loving yourself = Loving others? [BibleCode_GA 5.14]”

On Saturday, November 15, the ArtRise 2025 Award collective exhibition was inaugurated at OAH_Homegallery in Ivrea.

The day saw the participation of ten artists from different regions of Italy, each of whom presented their work, illustrating how it responds to the proposed theme. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about the techniques, paths, and personal research that support and nourish their artistic work.

After a brief introduction by curator and gallery owner Monica Cremaschi, the artists shared stories, visions, and intimate reflections: testimonies of daily resistance, courageous and free statements, far from the statements that today’s art market seems to demand from those seeking success.

As is often the case, OAH_Homegallery managed to transform a formal event into an authentic and informal gathering, creating a welcoming space where anyone can feel at home, provided they have the courage to expose themselves and inhabit it.

The floor was then given to some members of the jury present and hosted by Open Art House_Homegallery, thanks also to the contribution of the City of Ivrea. In particular, the following spoke:

  • Mara Risitano, founder of the S139art ensemble and the arteS movement in Milan.
  • Alessia Fraioli, historian and art critic, founder of the Instagram channel @cometicriticolarte
  • Francesca Di Giorgio, founder of Wallovely Home Decor & Design, an award-winning company that in 2024 won first prize in the Ancona Chamber of Commerce’s Impronta d’impresa (Business Footprint) award in the “Made in Italy and Internationalization” section.
  • Emilia Sabolo, chartered accountant.
  • Leonardo Porcelli, architect and lighting designer, founder of Stilemi.

The jury awarded three prizes for personalized projects:

  • HomeGallery Prize: to Kiril Hadzhiev, for his work “Noi sono, io siamo” (We are, I am). Born in Bulgaria, he lives and works in Turin.
  • Artistic Residency Award: to Anastasia Moro, with the work “Sacre Relazioni” (Sacred Relationships). Born in Montagnana (PD), where she lives and works.
  • Wallovely Home Decor & Design Award: to Andrea Turetta, with the work “In-Esistenze” (In-Existences). Born in Latina, where he lives and works.

The afternoon was made even more engaging by Mara Risitano’s performance, who gave body and voice to poems inspired by the sky, composed and recited at the very moment of their creation. A site-specific performance that is always different, capable of creating an intimate and personal experience.

The collective exhibition will remain on display at OAH_Homegallery until December 15, 2025.

It can be visited by appointment from Tuesday to Friday.

Every Saturday, the gallery is open from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a special art breakfast.
