Karen Fabbro
A young Italian-Colombian artist born in Verona in 1999, she works in the fields of sculpture and the visual arts.
After graduating in 2017 from the art school in Verona, she moved to Florence to attend the Academy of Fine Arts, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Figurative Arts – Sculpture in 2021 and a master’s degree in New Expressive Languages – Sculpture in 2024.
Her artistic practice is multifaceted, ranging from the use of traditional materials such as terracotta, bronze, alabaster and resin, to the use of everyday objects as ready-mades, and extending to photography, video art and 3D modelling.
A curious artist, she explores contemporary themes with an analytical and experimental approach, eager to investigate reality in order to engage with it in an authentic, original and ironic way.
She has held several solo and group exhibitions.
She currently works from her art studio in Prato.
