Everything is now at our fingertips. A swipe-up or a click is enough to fill us with any data like insatiable bulimics who, in turn, vomit uncontrollably. Only when we manage to stop ourselves from this rush do we glimpse the abyss of deep loneliness, which is generated by a life in which we are not protagonists and which is the result of a continuous search for tutorials that suggest winning solutions.

Separating the useful from the futile and discerning between that which edifies us by elevating us and that which plunges us into an abyss is crucial! In a time when people use people and love things, the need arises to bring order and ask questions.

Is everything useful and essential? Are we loving or using ourselves? Are we willing to set aside what is futile?

What is superfluous and what is the gain in leaving it behind?

“All thing are lawful, but not all things are beneficial or advantageous. All things are lawful, but not all things are costructive and edifying. Let no one seek his own good, but [also] that of the other person.”

So many , all desire change: in society, in politics, in one’s work, family , in one’s life. Few are participants in it, even fewer advocates.
Distracted looking around us from the windows of social media, we know everything but do not realize that we lack oxygen, our heart beats wildly or is stopped under formaldehyde. Vanity has taken the place of truth hardening our hearts, closing our eyes.
We need art to show us what we can no longer see and perceive today. A check-up on our state of health to awaken human dignity, rediscovering our value.
The prize wishes precisely to make us reflect on all this, a way to evaluate, to measure the temperature of our own heart. Starting from our interiority to see and understand who we are and what surrounds us. Listening to ourselves in order to listen.
We need to stand up and change our position, like a letter in a word has the power to transform all meaning, there is a change that has the power to change us and our world if we so desire.

“Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”
